Construction Manager / Operations Manager - Derby
Construction Manager - a growing Regional Construction Contractor is searching for a Construction Manager (Operations Manager) to head-up the Construction Division. This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Manager (Operations Manager) to join a Derby based business delivering new build and refurbishment projects from 1m - 5m.

Our client is a privately owned construction firm operating as a main contractor, developer and consultancy to deliver projects across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
In this role you will work closely with the Managing Director and Commercial Director to manage the construction division and oversee operations carried out by the site delivery teams.
Projects include apartments / multi-room, education, commercial and residential developments - they have a full-order book of work generated by their own in-house development arm alongside several repeat clients.
The position would suit someone working for a main contractor who can play a key role in the success of a growing business - and offers the opportunity to progress as the company enters the next stage of its journey.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the department and the operations teams
- Oversee projects during pre-construction phase
- Ensure projects are delivered to programme
- Ensure projects are delivered safely
Requirements:
- Experience as a Senior PM / Contracts Manager / Operations Manager
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing programmes, H&S, budgets
- Experience working with a building contractor

Salary & Package:
- Basic salary of 72,500 - 77,500 (DOE)
- Company Car Allowance ( 5,000)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record delivering multiple construction projects simultaneously as a Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Construction Manager or Operations Manager up to 3m or above with a building contractor.
