KiddyKare are looking for a Team Leader for a lovely setting in Ascot.
The nursery has access to a large outdoor space alongside access to the local area, which includes many large green spaces for the children explore.
Role purpose:
The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day running of the rooms comprising their team and as a member of the Nursery Management Team, supporting the management team in leading the setting ensuring they are always providing the highest standards possible.

Duties:
- To ensure the nurseries mission statement is always upheld.
- Act as a role model for the Early Years, ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed throughout the team to an exemplary standard.
- To step up and support within the management team with day-to-day duties when required.
- Engage with the Nursery Management Team to understand and comply with registration and legislative requirements, including any requirements outlined by Ofsted.
- To fulfil the role of a key person to an exemplary standard, providing a positive role model for team members.
- Carry out audits within the team.
- Be involved in the recruitment of staff, including but not limited to, shortlisting, interviewing and observing safer recruitment practices.
- Support the Nursery Management Team with employment relations issues such as probation reviews, flexible working, grievances, attendance management and disciplinary issues
- Assist in the effective use of social media and other marketing activities as required.
Person Specification:
Full and relevant Early Years qualification
Full understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS
Full understanding of the Ofsted inspection framework
Experience of leading a team and dealing with staff issues
Comprehensive understanding of health and safety requirements
