Position: Science Teacher Location: High Wycombe Pay: MPS to UPS, depending on experience (£29,344 - £44,919) Start Date: January 2025 Contract: Long-term, Full Time Exciting Science Teaching Opportunity in High Wycombe! The Role/Responsibilities: Teach dynamic and engaging Science lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4. Confidently deliver your area of expertise while adapting lessons to cater to varied learning styles. Create a stimulating classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and a love for scientific inquiry. Prepare students for their GCSE exams by enhancing their understanding and exam skills. Track and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic journey. Work collaboratively with fellow Science department members to develop innovative curriculum plans and share effective teaching strategies. Ideal Candidate: Strong understanding of the Science curriculum, particularly in your specialisation. Excellent classroom management abilities, with the capacity to engage students with diverse needs. A collaborative mindset, eager to work as part of a team to enhance student learning experiences. A genuine enthusiasm for Science and the skill to inspire students to appreciate the subject. Requirements: Right to work in the UK and a DBS check registered on the update service (or willing to apply for one). Possess QTS, PGCE, or a relevant teaching qualification in Science (unqualified teachers with suitable experience may also be considered). Previous experience in teaching Science at a UK secondary school, with a proven record of improving student outcomes.
