Senior Accountant

As Senior Accountant, you’ll look after a large client’s portfolio. undertaking a variety of accounting duties to support their requirements. You’ll manage a team of x direct reports and take control of reporting, budgeting and forecasting requirements.  Salary – Circa £60,000 Per Annum  Location – Birmingham / Hybrid (2 Days from home) Role Type –Full time / 9-5:30 / Mon-Fri  Benefits – 25 Days Holiday, Life assurance, Nursery benefit scheme, Private Medical, Enhanced maternity pay, discounts and more!  The Role This role involves servicing one large account with a property portfolio. You will oversee a team of 2 who will be handling day-to-day accounting transactions, including cash book, debtors, creditors ledgers, and payment runs. The position requires close collaboration with the Contract Management Team to provide financial insights into contract processes, workflows, and KPI’s. Ensuring compliance with RICS standards across the department is essential.  You’ll prepare month-end financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, while also reviewing and streamlining current processes. Additionally, you’ll support tenders and new contracts, ensuring financial reporting requirements are met, working closely with stakeholders to meet internal and external audit standards. We’re looking for a qualified ACCA ACA or CIMA accountant with 5 years PQ experience.
