Exciting Opportunity: SEND Teaching Assistant Needed! Hey, you! Are you passionate about making a real impact? Do you want to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a way that truly matters? If you love working with people and believe in the power of inclusive education – this role is for you! What you’ll be doing: As a SEND Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include: * Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis – tailoring activities so they can reach their goals. * Helping the lead teacher adapt lessons, making learning accessible for every student. * Developing social and communication skills with students who need that extra guidance. * Assisting in implementing Individual Education Plans and strategies to help each child progress. * Encouraging independence, building confidence, and creating a safe and supportive learning space. * Tracking progress and feeding back to the team to make sure everyone stays on track. * Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where everyone can thrive. What you’ll need: * An Enhanced DBS (or be willing to complete one!) * Maybe you have a TA Qualification, or perhaps you have experience supporting SEND students (But we can chat about that!) * Have a genuine passion for helping others * To be creative and adaptable – No two students are the same!
