We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated Head of Sales to take on a promising new role to lead a sales team as part of a larger fast-moving, Bristol-based team.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to put their stamp on a growing digital publications team with publications in tech, marketing & sustainability.
The Role:
- Manage a small but growing team of sales professionals
- Implementing & driving sales strategy
- Team training and mentoring – prospecting, pitching, closing, reporting, account management and retention.
- Work with the portfolio director to set sales targets, then work with the wider team to ensure these targets are met
- Drive your own sales across a portfolio of publishing titles
- Work within a team environment, building good on-going relationships with clients to deliver on their objectives.
- Matching client requirements with service packages
- Maintain existing business through client management and repeat business
- Being part of a growing team feeding in new ideas, and growing existing and new business
The Candidate:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years' prior experience in a Head of Sales role
- Training and mentoring experience
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development and growth strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Bristol/Greater Bristol based
