Network Engineer

New Network Engineer job available in Woking, Surrey! A global leader in the development of automotive communication technologies are looking to add a Network Engineer to their IT team in Woking, Surrey. You will be a key member of the IT department and will be focusing on network security and providing general infrastructure support. Key responsibilities of the Network Engineer job: * Maintain a technical proficiency in network security knowledge and monitor and improve network performance * Manage network-related incidents and service requests * Install and commission network infrastructure platforms * Provide 3rd line support and participate in on-call support * Azure administration Key skills / experience required for the Network Engineer job: * Strong Cisco experience (hardware, switching, firewalls & Routers) * Strong Meraki experience (Switches, Firewalls MX’s and WiFi) * Understanding of Azure data protection and security, features and architecture This is a hybrid job and the team usually work 2 days per week on site in Woking, Surrey, unless projects require more on site attendance.
