Position: Machine Operator
Location: Milton Keynes
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Milton Keynes.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to secure a Machine Operator to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
Your daily duties will include:
- Operating a variety of automatic and manual based machinery including some CNC
- Metal finishing
- Processing and treating products
- Running quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet company standards and flagging below-standard items
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience:
- Previous experience in machine operating
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good working within a team and on your own initiative
- Good attention to detail in order to understand and correctly follow processes
- Good communication skills
The ideal candidate will:
- Have good time keeping skills
- Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Be professional and approachable
More about the role:
- Hours - Rotating Shifts Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm & 12.00pm-8.00pm - alternating weekly
- Rate: 11.50- 12.50 per hour
- Start date: ASAP following interview process
- Duration: Full-Time ongoing assignment with view to permanent contract
