Your new role
Read/ use drawings to generate quotes
Communicate effectively via email, on the phone and in person
Participate in customer and/or supplier meetings as required
Liaise directly with suppliers where required to optimise special order pricing and lead times, especially on larger scale projects
Understand current market conditions and competitor activity to ensure that quotations are competitive
Generate quotations
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience generating quotes or estimating
Ideally knowledge of reading drawings to generate quotes
