Maintenance Fitter £45,000 - £50,000 + Call Out (1.5x) Shift Pattern Mon – Fri - 7am – 4pm Are you a Maintenance Fitter looking for a new challenge? What would I be doing as a Maintenance Fitter? * Working to schedules to carry out planned preventative maintenance * Working with electrical and mechanical drawings to undertake fault finding of equipment. * Performing preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems * Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults * Welding and fabricating of equipment to maintain, improve and apply corrective measures to ensure safe running of equipment * Installing, testing, and commissioning of equipment, The qualifications and experience required to be a Maintenance Fitter…? * Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter or a similar role * NVQ / Time served or equivalent qualification * Experience working with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems * Basic welding experience is advantageous * Flexible and adaptable approach to work to meet the needs of the business. * Ability to work autonomously. * Experience working in a heavy industrial environment * You are enthusiastic and positive with a “can do” attitude.
