Senior Estimator

We are currently collaborating with an established main contractor specialising in bespoke super prime residential schemes across London. Offering over a decade of experience the company builds, renovates and cares for prestigious homes, they pride themselves on supporting clients at every phase of their property journey, from a full structural renovation through to updating selected rooms. Project examples: -Gade II listed terrace: works included the house being completely stripped before it was fully refurbished throughout with bespoke joinery, fireplaces, wine store with built in seating, and beautiful wood flooring -Central London apartment conversion: The conversion of two apartments into one 2800 ft2 apartment in a historical building next to the Thames, the property features three bedrooms and bathrooms, with the other side an open plan living and dining space -Listed townhouse: works included the introduction of a split level basement into the rear garden transforming the property into a 4 level home whilst retaining the period features The Role – Senior Estimator Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Estimator to join their team in West London working on complex high end residential schemes. As a Senior Estimator, you'll be a crucial figure in shaping the financial success of our construction projects. Collaborating closely with project teams, design professionals, and subcontractors, you'll analyse project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates that guide decision-making and project planning. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Lead the preparation and review of detailed project cost estimates * Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and constraints * Analyse drawings, specifications, and project scopes to assess cost factors * Conduct thorough subcontractor and supplier bid evaluations * Prepare accurate cost breakdowns and present estimates to management * Mentor and guide junior estimators, fostering their professional growth
