About the role: Teaching Assistant: Are you passionate about making a difference in young learners’ lives? Join our welcoming team as a Teaching Assistant at our vibrant primary school in Islington! You will support Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, including those with special educational needs. Your role will involve working closely with classroom teachers to create an engaging, nurturing environment that encourages all children to thrive. Application Requirements: • Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role is preferred. • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for education. • Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with students. • A patient, empathetic approach to working with children. • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. • Enhanced DBS check will be required. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons tailored to students’ needs. • Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to reach their full potential. • Foster a positive learning environment by promoting student participation and well-being. • Collaborate with teachers to develop individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs. • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to aid in lesson adjustments.
