HGV/PSV/Light Vehicle Engineer

Job title: Advanced Engineering Mechanic East London Salary: Negotiable Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30, 06:00-15:00 on Friday. Overtime available Days of work: Monday-Friday Duties: * Advising the Team Leader of technical issues * Undertake advanced fault finding and diagnostic testing * Repair and maintenance of vehicles . * Contribute to the design, development, manufacture, construction, commissioning, operation or maintenance of products * Risk assessments * Undertake general engineering work and fabrication * Take responsibility for ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of the organisations vehicles, machinery and equipment * Complete specialist and general welding brazing and soldering Package: * Negotiable salary * Monday to Friday * Overtime available Qualifications/experience needed: * HGV Level 3 Qualified desired * Hold a full category C or D licence, reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabled candidates * Hold a IRTEC licence or equivalent * Familiarity with health and safety regulations and environmental standards * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions If you are interested, please apply in the first instance.
