Sales & Events Manager - Maternity Cover

Sales & Events Manager, £45, Month Maternity Cover We are working with a historic venue in London who host an array of events from weddings and corporate, to fashion shows and filming! We are looking for an experienced sales and events manager to join the team on 12 month maternity cover, supporting in driving sales to exceed targets as well as full planning and coordination of events. The sales and events manager will support the head of department in coming up with creative ideas and promotions to market the venue and drive awareness. Responsibilities: Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets Respond to a high volume of enquiries from clients, agencies, and suppliers Focus on confirming multi-day, high revenue events Assist the Head of department with strategies and sales plans Planning and coordiantion of events, liaising with suppliers and ensuring excellent guest experience Attend tradeshows and networking events on behalf of the venue Skills and Experience: Event sales and management experience ideally from a unique venue background High-end and large scale event coordination and management Knowledge of health and safety Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Customer relationship management A creative thinker Strong organisational skills and detail orientated If you are keen to discuss the details further, please apply today or send your cv to Marlene at COREcruitment dot com
