Role: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Derby - East Midlands based projects
Salary: 40,000- 50,000 DOE

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining to work on projects across the East Midlands with projects coming up in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. My clie nt works across a diverse project portfolio, including, education, healthcare, commercial and leisure with projects ranging from 1m - 30m in value.
This is an exciting time with a number of secured projects there will be opportunities for progression that would be otherwise unachievable in this current market.
About the Quantity Surveyor role
As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play an integral role in the management, direction, and successful completion of projects. Working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor to develop, learn and grow. Your focus is to manage build cost and maximise margin whilst achieving the required standards and quality.
This role would suit an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for that next step, or a Project Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge. You will gain exposure to a number of exciting projects across a variety of sectors.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor role
- Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor
- Education, Healthcare or Commercial experience ideal but not essential
- Experience of working within the Construction industry for a main contractor.
- UK Driving License
