Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Sous Chef to join the Hospitality and Fine Dining team in the heart of Central London for our Global Client. This is an exciting, permanent, and full-time opportunity reporting into our Executive Chef. Home to more than 450 people onsite for the clients global headquarters in St. Jamess Square in Central London. The site accommodates the board and executive management, together with the key corporate and business functions teams. Responsible for delivery of our fine dining food services throughout the day, and bespoke events. You will have the opportunity to be involved in our constant innovation and evolving culinary experiences. Food safety and high standards of cleanliness will also be a key focus for you. Whilst this is a Sous Chef position, the scope of the role and the size of the operation could appeal to an existing Head Chef looking to progress within a large and exciting business. What is in it for you: We are offering a salary of £45,000 per annum Monday Friday only , between 7am - 5pm, no weekends or late nights. There will be the odd dinner till 8pm, once every quarter. Company pension Free meals and beverages on shift MyStaff Shop discounts Generous Annual Leave, increasing in line with service, and the opportunity to buy extra days EAP in house mental health champion Qualifications and progression within Aramark A day in the life of a Sous Chef: In the absence of the Senior Chef, assume responsibility for the overall kitchen operation Menu writing and planning Help oversee the general production of breakfast, lunch and dinner s To maintain food hygiene, service & presentation to a high standard Support with managing the P&L and all associated financials Deliver first class food throughout service Manage all associated administration To manage and champion daily and weekly cleaning schedules Ensure compliance of all processes and procedures, including daily and weekly checklists and cleaning schedules You will be set up for success if you have: Relevant culinary experience operating at a Sous Chef or Head Chef level A passion for food and service Fine dining and menu writing experience Flexible approach to hours and duties IT literate, numerate and able to communicate across cross discipline stakeholders Security vetting will be required All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
