Head of Sales - Van Ninja Location: Stockton & Skelmersdale We have an exciting opportunity for a, results-driven Head of Sales to oversee and optimise sales performance across both field sales and telesales teams while meeting profit targets. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong, daily leadership for both the van leasing field sales and telesales teams. Manage, motivate, and develop the sales teams to ensure maximum performance and career growth. Take an active role in sales by building and managing your own pipeline to drive business success. Collaborate with internal teams (fleet, rental, and marketing) to align sales efforts with company goals and ensure compliance with funders’ requirements in line with consumer duty legislation. Support the New Business team in preparing proposals, delivering presentations, and attending client meetings. Oversee recruitment, training, and induction processes for the sales force. Analyse sales performance and market trends, making data-driven strategic decisions. Drive sales productivity, efficiency, and innovation, in line with Dawsongroup Vans and Van Ninja objectives. Coordinate vehicle deliveries with the fleet team, ensuring customer expectations are met. Act as a key ambassador for the Van Ninja brand, managing customer expectations and fostering strong relationships for retention and renewals. Key Performance Measures: Achieve forecasted revenue, vehicle sales targets, and profitability goals. Maintain and grow the business prospect database within HubSpot. Deliver comprehensive, timely sales reports and proposals to senior management. Foster a high-performing team environment that meets and exceeds sales productivity targets. What We’re Looking For: Extensive experience leading business and account development teams with a proven track record of success. A strategic thinker with strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire the team. Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver comprehensive leasing solutions. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Computer literate with the ability to prepare clear, articulate proposals and reports. Ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a senior commercial role reporting directly to the Operations Manager, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.
