We are seeking a Social Media Assistant to join our Social Media team. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering engaging social media content covering Liberty’s people, place and product across all our social media channels (E.G. @libertylondon, @libertybeautyteam Instagrams, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest). A key touchpoint for the Liberty brand, this social role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be part of an innovative retailer and leader in the luxury space. Key duties and responsibilities REVIEW and REPORT on performance of content on a weekly and ad-hoc basis. MONITOR content activity and prepare reports on competitors both in ecommerce and editorial and react to analytics and reporting and make relevant changes to content based on this. UPDATE the daily and weekly content calendars for select Liberty social channels. Schedule and publish content. PITCH social-first content ideas that feel elevated, speak to the businesses needs and what is trending on social. SUPPORT in their filming and editing. BUILD our community of artistic shoppers (E.G. crafters, fashion-lovers, interior-designers, beauty buffs) by ENGAGING with comments and direct messages in a tone of voice that feels Liberty. WRITE engaging copy that is reflective of the Liberty tone of voice. SUPPORT the Social Media Specialist in liaising with the graphic design, studio, editorial, marketing, events, buying, press, partnerships and events teams to ensure a joined-up approach to social media that meets business needs. SUPPORT in the creation and presentation of social media plans for key product launches, affiliate projects, influencer campaigns and brand promotions, and use findings from the meetings to ensure social media content is responding to business needs. ATTEND after-hours events at Liberty and external locations, working with talent, photographers and videographers to produce content for social media channels as required. Knowledge, skills and abilities Skilled at shooting (on phone) and editing video content Knowledgeable about social media platforms, formats and trends Some knowledge of Premier Pro and Photoshop Strong copywriting and creative thinking skills Analytical mindset An eye for design and visual concepts Interest in the Liberty brand and luxury landscape Excellent organisation and timekeeping Ideally has experience of social media management tools Ideally has experience in community management across social Ability to cope well under pressure and with multiple deadlines Ability to work cooperatively in a fast paced, team environment Minimum Qualifications Some experience in social media ideally within a luxury brand/retailer or agency.
