Financial Controller

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working exclusively with an excellent business Newry to appoint a Financial Controller to head their small finance team. This role will suit a qualified accountant seeking to make a move to Financial controller but will equally suit a seasoned accountant with the relevant skills as there is mid term progression to Finance Director. The Role: Preparation of monthly management accounts Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations Asset finance management Balance sheet reconciliations Day to day oversight of sales and purchase ledger Processing monthly payroll Monthly cash flow reporting Preparation of budgets Preparation of year end statements and liaising with external auditors Preparation of monthly finance report and present to the senior management team each month The Person: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Qualified by experience will also be considered Previous experience in a similar role Proficiency in Excel Excellent communication skills The Rewards: Competitive salary up to £65K Company pension Free parking 4 day week Staff benefit scheme To apply for this Financial Controller job please click on the link below or contact Stephen Cunningham to discuss in the strictest confidence.
