Our client is a large plastic injection moulding manufacturer with large blue chip clients and they are in the process of expanding their production. This opportunity is for a skilled setter / technician to join this well established business Job Responsibilities * Change over of Tools and trailing any new jobs. * Optimising efficiency of the other jobs and resolving any issues relating to production in a timely manner. * Montor the quality of the moulds to ensure they comply with regular quality checks and minimise the amount of moulds sent to scrap. * Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure that 5S is followed throughout the manufacturing. * Liaising with production Planners in regards to any problems that occur and assisting where possible with any amendments / repairs. * Ensuring the smooth hand over at the end of every shift. Job Requirements * Past experience within a similar role. * Good knowledge of injection moulding and some extrusion. * Ideally would drive and have their own transport. * Excellent communicator and enthusiastic attitude. Hours: This shift pattern will rotate on a weekly basis.
