Timber Frame Designer West Yorkshire c£30,000 (flexible to attract) Full time, permanent :: Are you an experienced Designer of timber frame, roof truss or floor cassettes? :: Would you like to be involved in the design of the whole building? :: Do you enjoy working on a wide range of projects including Passivhaus? We are working with an expanding timber frame business in West Yorkshire who work with a varied group of customers delivering projects from small extensions up to multi-storey developments. Now seeking a Timber Frame Designer to join their team, working to provide a quality product and service, often to Passivhaus standard. Are you: * Experienced Timber Frame Designer, or Roof Truss / Floor Cassette Designer who is looking to expand your knowledge and experience * Interested in timber frame and sustainable buildings * Able to use Mitek or other timber frame/timber engineering design software * Proven in your attention to detail and quality About the Timber Frame Designer role: * Producing 3D models from Architect designs, creating detailed drawings for manufacture and site installation * Producing construction drawing packages and keeping in touch with your production team colleagues * Liaising with various stakeholders including Architects, Engineers, Designers, site staff and your clients * Once you are settled, there will also be the opportunity to attend site visits, design team meetings etc. As Timber Frame Designer you will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team and given the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills.
