Full time Optometrist

JOB DESCRIPTION - OPTOMETRIST This is a full-time on-site role for a Refractive Optometrist at EuroEyes LEC London in Knightsbridge, London. The Refractive Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye exams, diagnosing vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing refractive surgeries. Located in Knightsbridge near Harrods, EuroEyes LEC London is an international eye clinic that specialises in the treatment of myopia, presbyopia, hyperopia and cataracts. EuroEyes clinics has over 30 years of experience in the field of refractive surgery. The ability to differentiate between important and urgent tasks, and prioritise and complete multiple tasks • An openness to change, grow, and take on greater levels of responsibility and performance. • Previous experience in refractive surgery – minimum 2 years • A self-starter, capable of working within a team with minimal supervision • Clerical and administrative experience using computers • Working Knowledge of a simple database application, word, excel, email and Internet • Knowledge of pre- and post-operative care for refractive surgeries Full pre-operative consultation for suitability for laser surgery, cataract, RLEs and ICL’s. • Diagnostic scanning and training other members of staff • Analysis of data and clinical diagnostics beyond the consultation • Report writing • Continuous training in refractive eye surgery, and core ophthalmic skills • Reporting: You will report to the Clinic Manager. 40 hours a week between the hours 08:00-20:00, Monday - Saturday 25 days holiday + Bank holidays • Private health insurance • Discounts on treatments • Training in the UK and abroad Salary: £60,000-£70,000 pa depending on experience
