Chemistry Teacher Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and effective chemistry lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Prepare students for examinations, including planning and marking assignments, and providing constructive feedback to enhance learning. Supervise and conduct practical laboratory experiments, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to and that lab equipment is managed effectively. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, offering personalised support and guidance where necessary. Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to support academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to continuously improve teaching strategies and curriculum development. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and progress. Attend professional development sessions to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and subject knowledge.
