£23,500 - £25,000DOE
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Facilities Assistant to join our successful global client based in Newark. We are looking for someone who can provide an efficient Facilities service to meet customer requirements and support the wider team.
THE ROLE
As a Facilities Assistant you will have experience in maintenance and property repair ensuring the highest standard of service delivery, other responsibilities include:
- Scheduled and reactive on-site maintenance checks
- General repairs and maintenance of building and outside spaces
- Assisting with health and Safety checks and completion of Risk and Method statements
- Arrange hire cars and access to company vehicles when required
- Archiving and upkeep of files
- General reception cover and light admin duties
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Facilities Assistant will be self-motivated and be able to use initiative, prioritize your work and demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
- Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks and use of hand tools
- Experience of coordinating and supervising building contractors
- Ability to understand Administration Tasks related to the role
- Good understanding of H&S and safe working practices
- Good Problem-Solving techniques
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
