Chirrup.ai monitors and reports nature on farms. We're hired by food companies who need to report biodiversity risks and opportunities in their supply chains. The service links a simple audio recording device (which we deliver to farm), machine learning, and ecological expertise. We bring these together to help farms measure, manage, and improve biodiversity while boosting resilience and productivity. We've made a stellar start with customers including Tesco, Diageo, Dairy UK, Lakes Free Range, Bairds Malt and even Tottenham Hotspur FC(!). Backers include WWF and the UK government, as well as private investors.
Role Description
This is a contract Business Development Executive role at Chirrup.ai. The Business Development Executive will work with the founder on new business development, lead generation, business communication, and account management. This is a hybrid role, focused on home-based lead development and client f2f meetings, with periodic team sync ups at our offices in County Hall, Waterloo, London.

Qualifications
- New Business Development, Lead Generation, and Business Communication skills
- Account Management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience in the food manufacture, agriculture or environmental sectors is a plus
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field could be helpful, but we're also open to non-academic self-starters
