MULTI SKILLED ENGINEER

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to work on a 4on 4 off shift at our Westerleigh site. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a team working across a designated shift pattern and providing support across the site including our Abattoir, Butchery and Packing Departments. Successful candidates will be: excellent fault finders and have strong mechanical skills with a good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC's. They will also be expected to accurately record all maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system so strong computer skills are a must. The Engineering department is crucial to the efficient running of the site and therefore applicants will be required to demonstrate: excellent communication skills when liaising with internal departments and external contractors a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall needs of the business are met. Ideally applicants will have direct experience of working with food processing and packaging equipment, however familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.
