ProAmpac brings brand owners and packaging experts together to generate fresh thinking, accelerate advanced technology and increase speed-to-market, package customization and consumer differentiation.Aim/Purpose of Job:To be responsible for the management of new and existing accounts, ensuring that agreed budgets are achieved and all potential for additional growth is satisfied.To meet sales targets set by the Sales Director and ensure that customer requirements are communicated and adhered to. To identify opportunities for new packaging formats within the marketplace and liaise with both the sales and technical teams to develop new potential products.To establish and maintain relevant approvals with retailers associated with the named house accounts, working closely with the Sales Director in these areas to identify new business opportunities.The ideal candidate will lead the account development and penetration strategy for assigned customers or regions. They should be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and work to provide exceptional customer service to clients. Main Duties & Tasks:Manage a portfolio of accountsDevelop positive relationship with clientsResolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely mannerTo maintain regular contact with specific customers in within the UK and European regions and troubleshoot in areas if requiredProvide marketing/sales/product information to existing/potential customers via the telephone, computer, post or in personTo provide and important link between the sales and technical teams and to have a good understanding of the production processes for all relevant accounts.Identify and target business development opportunities in both home and export markets. Visit existing/potential customers to make presentations to maintain, enhance or gain businessNegotiate new price structures for both new and existing customersWork with the Sales Director to forecast customers anticipated spend for the year and produce budgeting informationInvestigate/analyse shortfalls in individual customer expenditureLiaise closely with Internal Sales Manager and internal sales coordinators team to ensure customer deadlines/requirements are metProduce all internal documentation and reports as required by the Sales Director from time to time Work as part of team, supporting colleagues and sharing information.To undertake all Hygiene, Quality and Environmental responsibilities to ensure that company standards are met and surpassedTo introduce and maintain safe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and efficientTo work within government and company Equal Opportunities Policy and practices and report any deviationsWork in accordance with all company environmental management requirements, taking reasonable care for the protection of the environment through your own acts/omissions and report any opportunities for improving environmental targetsTo work within government and Company Health & Safety policies and practices and report any deviationsTo be flexible in undertaking duties and responsibilities and may be asked to perform other duties with reasonably correspond to the general character of the position and are commensurate with its level of responsibilityAttitudes & Qualities:Ability to transport across the UK and Europe where requiredSelf-motivatedAssertive and self-confident Willingness to work to a flexible scheduleProfessional written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsCommercial awarenessAble to facilitate and participate in group meetingsVisibly requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company imageConfidentiality and discretionQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, specifically within Packaging or FMCG.Understanding of sales performance metricsProficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
