Senior Data Architect - SC Clearance Required - 6 month contract - SFIA Level 6.
As a Senior Data Architect, you will play a key role in delivering the data strategy and vision set by the Chief Data Architect.
You will be responsible for designing and managing data models, ensuring metadata systems meet business needs, and guiding other data architects in adhering to established standards.
You will collaborate closely with technical architects to ensure systems are designed in accordance with the organisation’s data architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design data models and metadata systems to meet business requirements as defined by the Chief Data Architect.
Provide expert oversight and advice to data architects, supporting the creation and management of data models and data dictionaries.
Ensure that all data architecture teams are aligned with the standards and frameworks set by the Chief Data Architect.
Collaborate with technical architects to ensure the organisation’s systems comply with the established data architecture.
Support data governance practices and contribute to maintaining data integrity across all systems.
This role is ideal for a seasoned data architect who is ready to take on a leadership position in driving the organisation's data strategy forward, ensuring high standards in data management and system architecture.
Essential Requirements
Strong experience in creating and managing complex data models and metadata systems that align with business needs.
Ability to oversee and guide other data architects, ensuring adherence to best practices and organisational standards.
Experience working closely with technical architects to ensure system designs meet data architecture requirements.
In-depth understanding of data governance practices, data dictionaries, and how to maintain data quality and integrity.
Ability to interpret complex business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You must hold a valid SC Clearance.
This is an immediate start contract for an initial 6 month period, that could extend up to 2 years and/or become permanent (although this is not guaranteed).
It is a Hybrid working arrangement contract with 2-3 days per week required in Central London.
