Our strategic tax planning expertise includes corporate tax, M&A transactions, employment advice, tax risk, tax technology and VATcustoms. Our private clients advise family offices, family wealth and business owners on personal tax, inheritance tax, capital gains tax or international tax advice. This role lies within the tax service line marketing team and is crucial for crafting and executing a portfolio-focused go-to-market (GTM) strategy that aligns marketing and business development activities with key business outcomes. By collaborating with Tax Assurance & Risk Management and Tax Automation & Innovation service lines, it uses marketing expertise to develop impactful campaigns that address client issues and target market segments. Additionally, it ensures the integration of business development infrastructure and fosters a culture of accountability around pipeline management and targeting. We are looking for a strategic and results-driven professional with a proven track record in developing and executing portfolio-focused go-to-market strategies. You will be adept at creating impactful marketing campaigns, influencing cross-business teams, and aligning activities with key business outcomes. Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to embed business development initiatives and foster a culture of accountability. In this role you’ll: ? Create and implement a portfolio-focused go-to-market (GTM) plan aligned with key business outcomes. ? Advocate for a portfolio-based approach across service lines and influence partners to align with the tax stream marketing strategy. ? Collaborate with the client engagement team to support and enhance the firm’s client and audited entity feedback program. ? Create impactful campaigns: Leverage marketing expertise to design and manage campaigns that address client issues and target market segments. ? Drive thought leadership: Develop and launch thought leadership content, including reports, web-based insights, and integrated marketing activities. ? Maintain marketing materials: Oversee the creation and upkeep of high-quality credentials, bid materials, and other marketing assets. ? Ensure effective localisation: Ensure that national campaigns are localised effectively with stream-focused partners and directors. ? Manage and monitor the sales pipeline, ensuring a strong pipeline of activity and momentum, supporting the team with recording all activity on the CRM system. ? Implement our Client Listening Programmes, report progress and make recommendations to improve client service. ? Provide ad-hoc pitch support, working with the central bids team and conducting bid debriefs to improve on our bid performance. ? Support the team to drive and develop the firm’s key account management and subsector targeting programmes, taking responsibility for updating key account and pursuit plans. ? Be proactive in bringing market trends and ideas to the business to help open doors to new work and qualify in new leads where opportunities are identified. You’ll be someone with: ? A strong Marketing and Business Development skill set and commercial in approach. ? An ability to persuade, influence and challenge client-facing teams (including partners) in a constructive manner and identify appropriate solutions. ? Strong project management skills and the ability to be flexible, prioritise and reprioritise workload and to delegate where necessary. ? The ability to integrate at a high level with their peer group, developing strong relationships with key contacts across the firm. ? The ability to identify linkages and key themes. ? The ability to think differently about approaches to delivery. ? Relevant bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CIM) are a plus.
