About the role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, helping students catch up with the curriculum. This role has become available due to a recent addition to our student body, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed. You'll be working with small groups of children, focusing on boosters and interventions to help them meet their learning goals. The role stands out for its personalised approach, allowing you to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. The class sizes are small, ensuring you can provide the attention and support each student needs. Application Requirements:• Experience: Previous experience working with Key Stage 1 children is essential, particularly in a support or intervention role.• Qualifications: A relevant qualification in education or child development is preferred, but we also value experience and passion.• Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage young learners and adapt teaching methods to meet their needs.• Knowledge: Familiarity with the Key Stage 1 curriculum and SEN best practices.• Attitude: A patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's education. Key Responsibilities:• Student Support: Provide targeted support to Key Stage 1 students, focusing on helping them catch up with the curriculum through tailored boosters and interventions.• Collaboration: Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver effective learning strategies.• Monitoring Progress: Track and report on student progress, identifying areas where further support is needed.• Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
