We are seeking a talented Financial Controller to join their finance team and play a pivotal role in shaping their financial landscape. Position Overview: As the Financial Controller, you will be instrumental in implementing financial systems and processes that support their growth strategy post-merger. This is a unique opportunity to lead a finance function that is evolving rapidly, where your insights and expertise will directly influence financial stability and success. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive the integration of financial operations and ensure a seamless transition as they expand their capabilities. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the integration and implementation of financial systems and reporting processes following the merger. * Develop and implement robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning frameworks to support growth initiatives. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements during and post transition. * Manage cash flow and optimize financial resources to support strategic objectives. * Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to drive informed decision-making. * Develop the finance department to optimise the business moving forward * Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets during and post integration process. * Experienced in compiling detailed financial reports, direct and indirect cash flow, P&L and balance sheet Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, ACA or CMA preferred. * Proven experience in financial integration following mergers or acquisitions desirable * Strong knowledge of financial regulations. * Proficiency in financial software and systems set up. * Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, FMCG environment. * As this is a growing and develop What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Unique opportunity to shape the finance function during a pivotal growth phase and beyond * Significant opportunities for professional development and career advancement. * A supportive and innovative work environment
