About the role: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will be an integral part of our school community, providing both in-class support and leading small groups in focused interventions. Your passion for education and your ability to engage and inspire young learners will help make every day exciting for both students and staff alike. This is a full-time, long-term position that offers fantastic professional development opportunities. You will work closely with teachers, taking on some teaching responsibilities, and help plan and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students. Application Requirements:• Previous experience as a HLTA or Teaching Assistant with relevant qualifications.• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.• Ability to manage groups and deliver small-group interventions effectively.• Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff. Key Responsibilities:• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.• Leading small group interventions to help boost attainment in key subjects.• Providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs.• Taking responsibility for planning and delivering lessons during teacher absence.• Assisting in the planning and preparation of educational materials.
