Junior Paraplanner
Salary up to £37-45,000
Hours 9-5 – Hybrid (2 days office)
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a global wealth and succession planning solutions firm, who provide high level service to high net work and ultra-high net worth individuals. Based in Mayfair, you will be supporting the UK sales teams driving excellent service to drive good outcomes.
Duties:
- Support in the ongoing insurance intermediation services
- Service existing clients and partners and address general ad-hoc and technical queries.
- Support the coordination of all aspects of the tailor made, complex financial cross-border solutions until the transactions have been approved and agreed with all stakeholders
- Collaborate closely together with the insurance company in order to service the clients and act as an intermediary for them.
- Supporting the UK Sales team with reviewing existing client files where required ahead of meetings and assisting in identifying opportunities and with following up
- Preparation of annual client reviews as appropriate, supporting the paraplanner conducting the review ensuring that the support is in accordance with FCA regulatory and client suitability requirements.
- Management of annual reviews and responsibility for the progress reporting of the review to Senior Management.
- Assisting where required in the preparation of suitability letters, creating advice sets, illustrations and documentation preparation for AML checks.
- Liaising directly with clients where appropriate and contacting third parties for any additional information that maybe required or to answer third party questions/queries.
- Management and responsibility of the partners, introducers and third-party database ensuring appropriate documentation is completed and Compliance approval received to onboard the third party.
- Responsibility for ensuring that the FCA Record Keeping requirements are adhered to and that client files remain up today and relevant.
- Working efficiently, in line with procedures and processes to tight deadlines to ensure smooth business submissions, high service standards that result in and a good client experience
- Additionally, you will provide support on projects
- Keeping up to date with regulatory changes, relevant legislation, business risks and appropriate CPD requirements.
- Ensuring good conduct, TCF and operating in line with the FCA Consumer Duties requirements.
The right person for this role will offer around 3 years’ experience within the wealth planning industry and will be working towards FCA level 4 regulated and registered with the CII or equivalent.
Salary will depend on experience
