Aramco Trading Limited (ATL) are currently recruiting for a Charterer to join the team. Qualifications, experience and skills:Bachelor degree in Business, Economics or equivalentA degree in Maritime Operations is preferredExperience in shipping logistics and chartering (freight/shipping)Keep abreast of world demand and supply and the market’s dynamicsA broad network consisting of brokers and ship-ownersGood industry knowledge of international product and shipping market, ship chartering process, supply/demand fundamentals of freight markets, third party system parameters and the market’s competitorsDuties include:Work and plan with traders, operations, and chartering manager to develop an annual shipping strategy and ensure successful chartering plan.Conduct out chartering of TC and space on COA/SPOT vesselsAssist in preparing implementation plans to charter vesselsReview trading strategies periodically with chartering manager and operation’s lead, as well as, monitoring and adjusting positions based on risk and trading limitsReview terms and conditions and provide feedback/comments prior to executing a dealNegotiate, decide, and validate shipping deals, alongside finalizing charter terms and executing the dealsInput transaction details into the current system and ensuring the accuracy of any given termsWork closely with the Settlement team to follow up on freight paymentInteract with ship owners, brokers, and any other involved parties to obtain intelligence in order to develop a forward view of the shipping market and most importantly to identify opportunities leading to lower chartering ratesCoordinate with traders and operation’s schedulers to obtain and confirm vessel chartering requestsCoordinate with Finance team to provide information/data when requiredCommunicate with ship-owners and brokers in regards of contractual terms and conditions changes, and work with the freight and demurrage team to resolve contractual misunderstanding on a timely basisCheck and maintain trades, terms, banking details and other critical specifics for any errors and revise themPerform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the ManagerAramco Trading LimitedEstablished in 2010, Aramco Trading (ATC) is now the lead premier trading company in the Middle East.
