Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Greater London & Surrounding Counties Company: Armour Home Electronics Location: Greater London & Surrounding Counties Reports to: UK Sales Manager Overview: Armour Home Electronics, a leader in high-quality home audio and entertainment solutions, is seeking a dynamic and energetic Area Sales Manager to manage and grow sales within the Greater London territory and surrounding counties. This role involves maintaining relationships with independent hi-fi dealers, developing new business within the installation channel, and managing key accounts with stores involved in national retail chains. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about moving into an area sales position and have prior sales experience in the Hi-Fi or consumer audio industry. Key Responsibilities: - Territory Management: Manage and grow sales in the Greater London and surrounding counties, ensuring targets are met and exceeded. - Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing independent hi-fi dealers, ensuring exceptional service and support for their needs. - New Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the installation (install) channel, with a focus on growing the Armour Home brand presence. - National Accounts Support: Manage and nurture relationships with stores involved in national accounts, ensuring Armour Home products are well-represented and performance expectations are met. - Sales Strategy: Work closely with the UK Sales Manager to develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with company goals and maximizes territory potential. - Product Knowledge & Support: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Armour Home’s product range and the wider market to provide expert advice and support to customers. - Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance, trends, and market conditions within the territory, providing regular reports and insights to senior management. Skills & Experience Required: - Previous sales experience in the Hi-Fi/consumer audio industry preferred, ideally with knowledge of independent hi-fi dealers and the install market. - A passion for high-end home audio products and the ability to effectively communicate their value to customers. - Proven track record in business development and account management, with the ability to drive sales growth. - Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first approach. - Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic about taking on new challenges. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to work independently and manage a territory effectively. - Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel within the territory.
