Highly Specialist Speech and Language TherapistBand 7, Part-time 30 hours per weekWe are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist who has postgraduate training in the area of dysphagia and demonstrable experience in the assessment and management of eating and drinking difficulties as well as experience working with a range of complex and significant speech, language and communication difficulties.An interest and some experience of AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) would support your application.Proposed interview date: TBCMain duties of the jobThe post holder will provide a highly specialist speech and language therapy service for children and young people with severe and complex learning difficulties in Perseid special schools, in accordance with the Service Level Agreement for Sutton Health and Care Alliance.They will contribute to the development of the special schools speech and language therapy service for children and young people. They will plan and provide highly specialist speech and language therapy assessment, advice and treatment to a defined caseload of children and young people with severe and complex needs.
