Working alongside the head chef you will play a crucial role in the success of the restaurant by ensuring the delivery of high-quality food. Managing food preparation, cooking and presentation to ensure high-quality and consistent dishesMonitoring food inventory and stock levels minimising wasteEnsuring kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficientlyAdhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe kitchen environmentCollaborating with the head chef to develop new menu items, seasonal offerings and special event menusAssisting with menu planningMaintaining a positive and professional attitude, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environmentAn appetite to learn new skills and be innovative in culinary ideas.Assisting the head chef during serviceWorking safely at all times, especially when using kitchen equipmentProvide outstanding customer service to residentsUndertake any activities that fall under the Health & Safety policies and procedures.
