Engineering Surveyor

Engineering Surveyor OXFORDSHIRE On behalf of a highly successful and established construction company, we are keen to speak with Engineering individuals who are keen to join a professional team. The role will involve working on construction sites in and around Oxfordshire, as part of the wider project team delivering £multi-million new-build projects across the Pharma, Commercial, Education and Auto-motive sectors. As well as general site engineering, duties, will include: * Placement of gridlines and datums. * Undetaking topographic and building surveys. * Producing as-built surveys * Setting-out using TS16, and establishing survey control. * The successful candidate will also assist with topographic surveys, measured building surveys and laser scanning surveys. * Setting out, using TS16. * Establishing survey control. * Some laser scanning may also be required but training can be provided. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate their ability to interrogating drawings, and having an eye for detail. You will need to have excellent AutoCAD skills and show proficiency at processing and calculating surveys. In addition to this you may be expected to prepare technical reports and spreadsheets. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and liaising with the wider project team, you will require excellent communication and problem solving skills. A degree or HND/HNC qualification in a surveying related discipline is an essential requirement. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Site Engineering / Land Surveying role. A currenty CSCS car, or being able to obtain one immediately is essential (the comapny can arrange this)
