Future Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for a medium sized Civil Engineering contractor in the water infrastructure sector. They specialise in delivering high-quality projects that enhance water supply, treatment, and distribution systems.
Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be overseeing up to 3 projects in the West Midlands area, up to £2 million in value.
Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Execution:
* Develop detailed project plans, considering scope, budget, and timelines.
* Coordinate resources, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
* Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
* Budget and Cost Control:
* Manage project finances, ensuring adherence to the project budget.
* Track expenses, approve invoices, and optimize cost efficiency.
* Mitigate financial risks.
* Quality Assurance:
* Implement quality control processes.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
* Risk Management:
* Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Proactively address challenges to minimize disruptions.
* Maintain open communication with the project team.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
* Collaborate with clients, engineers, and local authorities.
* Provide regular updates on project status.
* Foster positive relationships to enhance project outcomes.
* Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in water infrastructure projects.
* Excellent communication and leaderships skills.
* HND or Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering.
