SEND Teaching Assistant

Currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools. As a SEND Teaching Assistant you need: Sensitivity and understandingPatience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situationsTo enjoy working with other peopleTo be flexible and open to changeExcellent verbal communication skillsKnowledge of teaching and the ability to design coursesThe ability to understand people's reactionsActive listening skillsTo be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will: Prepare learning materialsAdapt teaching support according to student's needsLook after children's physical, social and emotional welfareCreate an interesting environment for studentsKeep records and attend review meetingsWork with professionals such as speech and language therapists All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
