The successful candidate will be working within the Marketing team to create 2D and 3D motion graphics that captivate our audience and drive engagement, bringing campaigns to life.The ideal candidate will be a passionate and versatile Motion Designer who can collaborate well within a team, can confidently communicate creative decisions to senior leaders, and provides the technical skill and design flair to complete work independently to the highest standards. This person would also be working closely with our technical team and mechanical engineers to create lifelike videos and animations using 3d models.Responsibilities: Creating visually stimulating motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms bringing our 3D renders and drawings to lifeIncorporating typography, vector animation, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic contentAdapting and optimising motion graphics for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback on various devicesDemonstrating a keen eye for detail, image composition and excellent knowledge of motion design concepts and principles. Contributing to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, contributing to the overall success of the marketing teamManaging multiple projects simultaneously and delivering projects on time Work closely with the graphic designer to conceptualize and storyboard motion graphic projects that align with brand guidelines and project objectivesCollaborating with stakeholders to understand project goals, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions to achieve the desired creative visionStaying updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously refining skills, and exploring new techniques Job RequirementsBachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) , Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design or related degree in visual communications, motion design or interactive design.3-4 years’ experience in motion design and animation Required Skills / ExperienceAn understanding of marketing channels, and the various purpose and needs for each.Ability to bring a story to life through video and animationA strong portfolio showcasing both 2D and 3D motion graphicsStrong knowledge of 3DS Max/Maya or C4D or Blender Extensive experience across the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Illustrator, PhotoshopAn understanding of design principles such as layout, typography, and colour theoryDesired Skills / Experience Has an evolutionary mindset: how can we take technical models from the asset engineering team and bring them to life, adding realism through creative storytelling.Excellent project management and organisational skills.Critical thinking skills and ability to handle a variety of different projects Experience in an in-house design team within a manufacturing/ educational/ scientific industry a plus. Experience telling educational stories through video and animationExperience in filming and editing a plusPerson ProfileCreative individual who is happy to manage their own time and workload.Are organised and self-disciplined, with an ability to multi-task and consistently hit deadlines.Are proactive and committed to developing your own knowledge and skills.Can problem solve and bring solutions to the table with a can-do attitude.Agility to adapt in small, dynamic organisation.
