We are seeking a Junior Barrister to join an in-house legal team specialising in large-scale group litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in litigation and a passion for representing claimants in complex, high-profile cases. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking legal team, gaining exposure to a wide range of legal issues and contributing to impactful cases that make a real difference.Key Responsibilities:Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and provide clear, concise analysis to support ongoing cases and legal strategies.Drafting & Preparation: Assist in drafting pleadings, submissions, witness statements, and other legal documents. Prepare case summaries, reports, and briefing notes for senior barristers and solicitors.Case Management: Support the management of large-scale group litigation cases, including the organization of case files, evidence gathering, and coordination with external counsel and experts.Advocacy: Represent the legal team and its clients in court hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution processes as required, under the supervision of senior barristers.Client Liaison: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all legal activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the firm and its clients.Collaboration: Work closely with solicitors, paralegals, and other members of the legal team to develop case strategies and deliver successful outcomes.Qualifications & Experience:Qualified Barrister: Called to the Bar in England and Wales.Experience: Up to 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure to litigation or group litigation.Legal Skills: Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills. Excellent advocacy and negotiation abilities.Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing positively to a diverse team.Client-Focused: Committed to delivering exceptional client service and building strong client relationships.To learn more and apply, please submit your CV.
