Operations Analyst

Colchester Global Investors is currently recruiting for an Operations Analyst to be based in our London office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to take responsibility for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of trades on client portfolios, whilst matching counterparty’s trades in the market to ensure timely settlement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the processing of collateral, initial margin and clearing obligations.
• Investigating collateral balance discrepancies and settlement disputes.
• Monitor coupons on collateral and claim / pay as necessary.
• Input and reconcile Futures trades / positions on a daily basis.
• Perform Daily Regulatory Reporting via DTCC repository
• Process bonds, repo/reverse repo, IRS, Interest cash flows, FX trades, and investigate settlement queries.
• Investigate CSDR and any other market related changes.

About You

• Must have previous proven Trade Support experience in Investment Operations experience within a fixed income environment.
• Must have prior experience with Futures IRS trades and reconciliations.
• Must be able to demonstrate good knowledge of collateral and regulatory reporting processes.
• Previous experience with Cloudmargin, Acadia, TradeNeXus and CTM preferred but not essential.
• Computer literate including proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
