The brand has huge potential to grow via its D2C platform.This is a super role for a brand passionate marketer who appreciates quality, and can hit the ground running in this challenging maternity-cover role. A brand champion who will lead, manage and enthuse a team of 4 reports and agency partners to pick up the marketing baton and deliver results, reporting directly to the CEO.Working on with a fast-growing, world-renowned tea brand, enjoyed by top chefs and luxury hotels, your task will be to drive its continued growth and elevate its brand presence. We’re looking for someone who will drive customer and consumer acquisition - leading the planning and delivery of bold and innovative marketing plans which bring the brand to life across all touchpoints and activities.This will include ensuring excellence in training capabilities across the sales and brand ambassador team, as well as leading the DTC eCommerce strategy and introduction of new lines.What you’ll be doing …Brand Strategy and Marketing PlanningLeading the marketing plan, aligned to a 5-year strategic vision, to deliver a multi-channel strategy to drive brand engagement, consumption, consumer acquisition and awarenessTranslating and bringing brand guidelines to life in all workstreamsAnalysing KPIs and using research & insight, including competitor analysis, campaign results and consumer trends, to shape strategy, tactics and messagingConsumer ActivityLeading the marketing team to create excellent, disruptive content aligned to brand positioning (written, video, visual) to drive consumer acquisition and embed the brand positioning across all touchpoints (ECRM, digital, social, packaging etc)Working with the eCommerce team to drive ongoing consumer understanding – A/B tests, analysis of messaging etc to refine and improve the DTC strategyCustomer & Trade ActivityEnsuring optimal visibility and presentation of the brand and its touchpoints, bringing its unique purpose and image to life at the point of choice and consumptionEnsuring brand assets are best in class, making the brand and brand benefits visible and engaging to stakeholders (including trade sell-in materials, bespoke key account presentations and trade materials such as menus)Supporting the Marketing Manager to prioritise and support priority brand activity in key trade channelsSupporting the sales team for key pitchesOngoing Business ManagementManaging external comms and PR agencies to deliver the planManaging the marketing budgetLeading and inspiring the internal marketing team to activate the plan effectivelyManage and support Training and Brand Ambassadors to deliver industry-leading training (in person, materials, online)Ensuring a high level of brand understanding internally to ensure Sales and Customer Service teams can sell/upsell the brand and productsEnsuring all innovation delivers a perfect brand product experienceWhat we’re looking for …To meet the challenge of this role, you’ll be an experienced brand marketing professional with an exceptional track record of developing and executing multi-channel marketing plans that engage consumers and premium HORECA customers & stakeholders, with a clear brand personality and reasons-to-believe across all touch points. Key skills & experience include:Proven brand marketing skills, ideally with experience in both consumer and trade marketing, and quite likely within a premium food and drink categoryExpertise in developing and executing multi-channel, full-mix marketing plans, social media strategy, and brand content creationStrong commercial acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for pushing boundaries to deliver exceptional resultsLeadership experience including managing and coaching direct reports, and working cross-functionally to drive projectsUK market experience is key, but some global/international market experience would be a bonusIf you are excited by this challenge, talk to us now.
