Working within this elite environment, you’ll be part of a team known for delivering strategic legal advice on some of the world’s largest and most intricate deals. This position sits within the Corporate Group and is dedicated to providing non-US foreign direct investment screening advice and coordinating reviews across multiple jurisdictions. Conducting detailed foreign investment screening analysis for global transactions Coordinating multi-jurisdictional filings, liaising with local counsel to ensure compliance with foreign investment regulations Preparing and submitting UK National Security and Investment Act notifications Advising on regulatory strategy relating to national security concerns within transactions The successful candidate will be between a UK qualified solicitor between NQ-3PQE and will play a vital role in helping to establish and grow the firm’s foreign investment screening team. The ideal candidate will have experience in foreign investment screening, either independently or as part of an antitrust or national security practice, and demonstrate an ability to manage significant responsibility early in their career. Candidates with experience in national security advisory, government contracting, or trade compliance will also be considered.
