Are you an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator looking for your next opportunity? A well-established SME in Knowsley is seeking a skilled individual to join their growing team. This role offers an excellent hourly rate, full-time working hours with an early finish on Fridays, and the potential to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines with precision and efficiency
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings to meet production standards
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished parts meet specifications
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
• Collaborate with the team and follow established company processes
• Use precision measuring tools to verify product dimensions
• Support lean manufacturing practices to improve operational efficiency

What we're looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience setting and operating CNC Press Brake machines
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and solve problems
• Familiarity with measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
• A solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
