Are you a Obs and Gynae Sonographer who is looking to lead a service? This consultant lead organisation offers a full range of scans that include Early Pregnancy Scans, Reassurance Scans, Sexing Scans, Scan packages, Anomaly Scans, Cervical Scans and Wellbeing scans. Our client uses both 3D and 4D technology to offer a full spectrum maternity service. Their state-of-the-art facilities are dedicated to give the best patient experience within the remit of women’s health. Private Medical Insurance ~ Pension Scheme ~We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Fetal Sonographer to set up and lead our sonographer led Fetal Medicine service. You will be well experienced in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound and currently be working at a Band 7 level or higher, within a maternity clinic. You will be responsible for creating SOPs, auditing and managing complex ultrasound equipment (Scheduling routine service, replacement and procurement). You will also liaise with the commercial and marketing team and network with key stakeholders as well as GP practices. Your typical week will be 40 hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 however, this can be flexible depending on your workload and patient lists. 5+ years’ experience in Obs and Gynae ultrasound. ~ Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent. ~ Evidence of academic achievement at a Master’s degree level. ~ Post Graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound. ~ Fully competent in all Fetal Ultrasound scanning including transvaginal, Doppler and Nuchal translucency. ~ Registered Radiographer with HCPC or Registered Midwife with NMC registration is desired but not essential.
