Principal Software Engineer Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: £90,000 - £103,000 Package: Up to 22% bonus The role We're searching for a Principle Software Engineer that can lead agile software development teams to deliver high quality, complex technology solutions. The Principle Software Engineer will be expected to lead by example, applying best practice agile and DevOps principles and be happy to get your hands dirty across a variety of technologies and understand common patterns across the full-stack of an application. The Client One of the UK's leading digital solution provider's widely for their expertise in delivering revolutionary products that solve real world problems. They help transform some of the largest and most complex organisations; including start-ups wanting to scale at pace. For example, the team are responsible for accelerating drug development, transforming green energy, catapulting a Fin-tech of 400 people into S&P 500 and reimagined visas and immigration. So you can expect to gain exposure to cutting-edge projects, across various industry sectors. The requirements To have: 6+ years’ experience working with a programming stack of your choice (e.g. .NET/.NET Core/Java/JavaScript & modern Frameworks such as React, Angular, Typescript.). Extensive experience of all aspects of the product development lifecycle. Experience developing cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience defining testing strategies and applying test automation, ideally drawing on TDD or BDD. Experience implementing CI/CD practices such as git, branching, automated tests and automated deployment pipelines. Extensive experience working in an agile team using Scrum or Kanban processes.
