As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in helping us achieve this mission and positively impacting the lives of our students.Role OverviewAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate closely with our teaching staff to deliver support to students with diverse educational needs. Your responsibilities will include classroom assistance, one-on-one and small group support, and helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities Student Support:Provide individualised or small group support to aid in students' academic and social development.Encourage independent learning and resilience through structured activities and personalised guidance.Foster a nurturing environment that boosts students' confidence and self-esteem. Classroom Assistance:Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the unique needs of our students.Help maintain a well-organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment.Monitor and report on student progress to the teaching team. Additional Responsibilities:Support students during transitions, breaks, and school outings.Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.Who We're Looking ForWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who: Has experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting. Is knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection practices. Brings a patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to working with students.
