Job DescriptionRole ProfileWincanton are recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team working on our Wickes contract based in Yeovil. £14.79 per hour before bonus £30,000 per annum plus achievable legal compliance bonus of £1,920 39 hours average per week (annualised contract of 2028 hours per year) Standard working pattern 5 days - Monday to Friday Sixth shift overtime available during peak season( Saturday) Starting at 0700 in the morning ALLMI training will be provided for suitable candidates with no HIAB licence Inexperienced drivers will be considered.Benefits include: Essential DCPC training Paid holiday entitlement Company pension scheme Childcare vouchers Wickes Discount RAC discount High street, Online Stores and Restaurant Discounts Driver referral programme - for every driver that you refer, you can earn an impressive £1,000Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multidrop and direct delivery of our customer's products. Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others. A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business. Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements. Always keep truck cleanExperience and Qualifications Must hold a valid in date Class 2 licence Must hold a Valid Digital Tachograph Card Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) HIAB licence - ALLMI or equivalent an advantage however not essential Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage Have a positive, flexible attitude to work.
